Your fitness apps have a problem.

VS
STRAVA · GARMIN · NIKE
  • Logs what you did. Can't plan what you should do.
  • Charges you to export your own GPS data and run history.
  • Has no idea if you slept 4 hours or 9 last night.
  • Will never tell you to rest. No engagement in rest.
  • "AI coaching". Just averages dressed up in marketing.
RUNPHATIC
  • Science-backed polarised training. 30 years of research, built in.
  • Reads your actual Whoop recovery score every morning.
  • Adjusts today's run to your real readiness. No guessing.
  • HRV trending down? Tells you to rest. And means it.
  • No AI. Real exercise physiology. You can read the papers.
Your app knows how far you ran. It never asked if your body could take it.

Built for runners who train with their heads.

Recovery-first training

Your Whoop recovery score shapes every session. Green day: push it. Red day: back off or rest. Real biometrics, not guesses.

Polarised training plan

80% easy aerobic, 20% hard intervals. The method elite coaches have used for decades. Run A and Run B. Simple as that.

GPS tracking, built in

Real-time GPS, live pace, and heart rate zones, all tracked natively in the app. Start a run in seconds. No separate GPS watch required.

Your data. Always.

Export every run, route, GPS point. Free, forever. No subscription needed to access your history. We will never paywall your data.

Science, not algorithms

No AI. Polarised training is built on peer-reviewed sports science. Your HRV is measured by Whoop, not estimated. Real data, proven research.

5K to full marathon. Or your own.

5K, 10K, half, full marathon, or a fully custom plan built around your race distance and date. Same polarised method, adapted to your fitness either way.

This isn't a vibe. It's 30 years of exercise science.

Every principle behind Runphatic was tested on real athletes and published in peer-reviewed journals. None of it was dreamed up in a product meeting.

80/20
TRAINING SPLIT

Nobody told them to do this

Elite skiers, rowers, cyclists, and runners were measured completely independently of each other. They all converged on the same split: roughly 80% easy, 20% hard. That's not a philosophy. It's what shows up when you measure the best in the world.

89%
STAYED ON TRACK

Recovery data compounds. Guessing doesn't.

In a controlled study, 89% of runners on recovery-guided training held or grew their fitness through the block, with average gains nearly double a fixed plan's. Without that feedback, only about half stayed on track.

TODAY
ADAPTIVE PACE

Your zones shouldn't be static

A heart rate zone calculated once, from a formula, can't know about last night's sleep. Adaptive Pace Intelligence recalculates your zones from your actual recovery, every day, not once at signup.

Half the runners on a fixed plan lost fitness they worked hard for. The other half just got lucky.

Obsessively simple. Brutally functional.

Every screen does exactly one thing. No clutter. No onboarding maze. Just training.

I use Gemini now that I've trained it as my fitness coach. I give it my recovery score and it adjusts my workout, but having the multi-day piece in there is something I hadn't thought of.

Questions

Do I need a Whoop to use Runphatic?

No. You can use Runphatic without a Whoop. You'll get the full GPS tracking and 5K training plan. You'll just miss the recovery-based adjustments, which are the real superpower. If you have a Whoop, connecting it takes about 2 minutes.

What's polarised training?

Polarised training means roughly 80% of your runs are done at easy, aerobic effort (Zones 1–2) and 20% at high intensity (Zones 4–5). Almost nothing in the middle. It sounds counterintuitive but it's what the research consistently shows works best for recreational runners. More easy running = faster at everything.

Is Runphatic free?

Yes, to start. The 5K plan, GPS tracking, and Whoop recovery data are free forever. Daily Adaptive Pace Intelligence, voice coaching, and full trend history are part of Premium, available as an in-app purchase.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Runphatic is a native iOS app, available on the App Store. It isn't available for Android at this time.

What happened to my data if I used the beta?

All your runs, Whoop history, and training records are still there. Just log in. Everything is right where you left it.
